Honeymoon Time

I was off on another surfing spree (unfortunately not the kind associated with the beautiful ocean above) when I saw this question & poll at SavvySugar.com: 

“How much time did you take off on your honeymoon?”

Along with some good advice about getting honeymoon time approved by the boss, you can see what others did with their honeymoon time.  Since my husband and I didn’t go on a honeymoon (and neither did 15% of the respondants!), I was wow’d by the 5% that said they took almost a month.  At the time I took the poll, respondants were 2,547.  That means roughly 127 people… right? (Ok, don’t hold me to the math!) 

Hmm, so if we take a late honeymoon, think I could get my boss to approve four weeks vacation? Hehe!

So, how much time did or are you taking?

    I don’t think I remember how much time I took off for my honeymoon. The real honeymoon (following the wedding) was in Richmond, preparing to move. After we didn’t move, we decided to do a real, real honeymoon and vacationed back to Cabo! I have never taken 4 weeks to do anything, so I’m sure that wasn’t it. Maybe a week.

    My wonderful “new” husband and I spent a week on our honeymoon. Wish it could have been longer, sigh….
