It’s Cinco de Mayo! For those unfamiliar with it, this Mexican holiday has been adopted by Americans in much the same manner as St. Patrick’s day. Frankly, we love an excuse to party, don’t we? LOL
In honor of this day and for those of you looking for a little salsa in your wedding fiesta, here are some great links to spice up your wedding with a Mexican theme.
WeddingClipArt.com has you covered from venues (mission style church) to colors (brights the word) to decor (sombreros, hand woven rugs).
WeddingDetails.com’s Mexican Wedding traditions also covers dress (mexican wedding shirts to fans), dance (salsa & merengue!), beliefs, and music - ala mariachi of course!
A more casual Mexian theme couldn’t possibly leave out dressing the groom and groomsmen in the oh so Latin guayabera either.
JoyofBaking.com has a recipe for some yummy looking mexican wedding cakes.Â
You might consider authentic dishes and beverages like paella and tequila (or rum based drinks too). More food ideas at Mexconnect.com’s La Comida de la Boda.

Now you’re ready to wed & party south of the border style. ¡Olé!
