I’m always walking that fine line between traditional and offbeat when it comes to my wedding details and my bridesmaid’s dresses proved to be no exception. I’ve decided to let all of the girls in my wedding party each pick a black tea-length dress in their own style. However, another alternative would have been to go with a convertible dress that allowed each maid to show off their personality in their own unique way. These dresses by Two Birds and Calypso were too pricey so I nixed the idea. Had I known that Victoria’s Secret would come up with this cheap chic version ($109) - I’d have jumped at the idea! If you compare it side by side with the most expensive Two Birds frock above, it’s almost identical.

Hey, I’m for saving money. Both of those dresses are adorable. Thanks for sharing that comparison Kate! Sometimes we get caught up on one idea and don’t see a little change can still work.
