Kate’s Quickies - Pretty Paint Chips

Paint Chip Save the Date Cards

Miss Kate, our bride-to-be, brings us a quick look at picking the right shade.

I knew I wanted black, white and green to play with in my color scheme. Black and white are easy, but what shade of green did I desire? While hunting for white touch up paint at the local Home Depot, I picked up a paint chip with a gorgeous color labeled Basil Green - this was it! For those of you far from Home Depot paint chips, MyPantone also offers some palette tools that make it easy to play with colors. For those of you within reach of these pretty paint cards, why not put them to use as Save the Dates, Seating Cards or even Menus!

It’s pretty neat to see options like this. I just hate it when the shade you pick is just a hair off, y’know? Of course, I didn’t need places like Home Depot and MyPantone - I used my mom’s color sense! I keep telling her she’s missed her calling, but she’s not listening… that just might make it difficult to go professional, eh? Heh!
