The Horoscope. Come on, you know you do it - those half-guilty peaks at the newspaper paragraph for your sign, the “Oh, I just read it for fun” comment, and the thrill of reading something that “sounds like you.” Been there, done that!
Humans have had a fascination with the stars for as long we’ve been able to look up. Whether it’s the ancient Zodiac constellations or the latest Mars exploration pictures, we’re captivated by the inherent beauty and possibilities present in the heavens.
What has all that to do with a bride you ask? Well, if you’re Stacey Wolf, then the answer is everything! According to her website, Stacey has been a professional psychic astrologer for fifteen years. She is also the author of the very first wedding/astrology book, “Never Throw Rice at a Pisces.”
My first reaction to reviewing this book was, “Hey, cool. That would be different.” And I was right. I found her style engaging and her explanations easy to follow. Her humor had me fooled for a bit until I realized it cloaked an insightful grasp on the personality traits of today’s brides. Stacey includes stories and experiences from real life brides. It’s a bit like an afternoon tea with your girlfriends - tidbits of this and that served with a whole lot of warmth and some wise words from an experienced friend.
Even if you aren’t a believer in astrology, I think you’ll come away with some great advice, a whole bunch of smiles, and little refresher on the “wow, that sounds like me” feeling!
