Have you ever wanted to put together your own “dream team?” I heard that phrase in passing the other day. It made me wonder who I’d want on my wedding dream team. One of the first things I considered was food and which star chef I’d want on my team. That’s a tough choice for me. After all, I’ve got my favorites, but when it comes right down to it, I’d have to pick Cat Cora.
Whether you know her as the Food Network’s “Iron Chef” Cat Cora, Cat Cora - the chef and author, or Cat Cora - the founder and president of the Chefs for Humanity organization, she’s one lady with a whole lot on her plate!
Chef Cora’s culinary goals came early in life. At age 15, she had a business plan laid out for her own restaurant. I doubt she’s looked back since. Her cooking is a reflection of her Greek and Southern family roots. Her cuisine is described as Mediterranean with Greek, French and Italian influences. She’s a mom, an executive chef, an author and humanitarian. I’m tired just thinking about her schedule.
If you’re curious, see her Iron Chef America stats, her books, and her efforts with hunger relief. Head over to her website for her blog, some videos and mouthwatering recipes.
So, is she on my dream team? Yep, sounds like sure fire way to a Bon Appétit!
