In honor of Veteran’s Day, we thought we’d take a look at military weddings. Those of you married to, brought up in or friends of military personnel and families know there are some occasions where military traditions bring new level of pomp and circumstance to an event. The military wedding is no exception!
Weddingdetails.com has a great reference that covers things from requirements to attire and receptions.
One of things most often remembered is the lovely arch of sabers which the bridal couple must pass under. Each branch does have a set of rules for their arch!
Take a look at some of these other videos we found at Youtube.com!
The MHW staff would like to express their deepest thanks, appreciation, and support to all our military personnel, past and present. If you are currently serving in the military, we offer free use of My Wedding Hero, wedding planning software. Just contact us to get started.
To those who are serving now, we wish you safe and happy homecomings like this one!
