The Wedding Dress Contract

Ta-dah! Here comes the bride and most important, the wedding dress. You have finally taken your dream to reality and selected the perfect gown. As you have discovered by this point, there were a lot of things to consider and many decisions to be made. Once you are comfortable with your dress and the price, there is still more work to be done. It’s time to finalize your purchase and review your dress contract or receipt. Don’t worry, we’ll fill in those final details for you right here.

Make sure your contract / receipt include the following:

  • Dress color, type of material, style number, designer, and / or picture if you’re having the dress made.
  • Size and / or your measurements.
  • Total cost.
  • Delivery date and delivery address.
  • Special-order requests.
  • Store’s alteration policy.
  • Cancellation or refund policy.
  • Policy in case of fire or other mishap.

Now you are finally ready to relax. Oh wait, there are still the shoes, veil, jewelry and lingerie to buy. Can somebody say “shop till you drop!”
