Honoring Deceased Parent at Your Wedding

Remembering

I’m not sure there in a grey area on this subject. Most people seem very firm in their ideas about honoring or acknowledging deceased parents during a wedding. Some find it sad while others believe it a touching remembrance. The following articles and forum have some options and discussion for your review. You should most definitely talk to your spouse-to-be beforehand! If you have conflicting views, maybe some of these options will help you reach a compromise.

One of the acknowledgments I particularly liked was the use of a single white rose laid in the empty seat or pew. I thought it was elegant and spoke volumes without bringing too much sadness.
