So you’ve picked out the song you want for the processional and the first dance. Maybe you’re even kicking around a closing dance option. Have you thought about the other music? Background music, father/daughter, mother/son dances? Any other highlights you want a specific song for? Oh? Not yet? No worries! NYC weddings has got a big list of possibilities to help you out.
A special note on the father/daughter dance if you need one: I recently heard “I Loved Her First” by the country band, Heartland. It’s been a while since a song brought tears to my eyes. Personally, I can’t think of a more appropriate song for that moment. Heartland’s website only has a short clip, but you can see the music video at Youtube.
