It’s not something you really want to talk about. It’s such a private subject that most brides just cross their fingers and say nothing. “That” time of the month on that special day can be a bride’s worst nightmare.
Obviously any bride, barring those with ESP or other physical conditions that make that worry non-existent, will share your concern. Here’s a great article by Caurie Anne Putnam at Ultimatewedding.com. She touches on stress, doctors, adjusting your cycle, and how to handle the unavoidable.
At the end she says:
“Now, stop worrying! Whether you get this unwanted guest or not, you are still going to have the best day of your life and when it is over and done, you will be married. That’s what matters most! Period :)”
I couldn’t have said it better myself!

Finally! Thanks for “talking” about topics that relate to women (who just happen to be the brides). This is a very personal approach and I applaud your “feminine” side to post it. As far as the article, it was very well written and uplifting. I was lucky enough to not have any special ‘visitor’ on my wedding day, but had it been any different, I would still only have fond memories!

Hi Conni!
Thanks for your feedback! I know the guys can give us that “blank” look when we bring up topics like this one.
