My Wedding Hero allows brides or wedding planners easy and flexible ways to organize and share all the details leading up to the wedding day. We recognize that getting your guest list together can be one of the most challenging aspects of the planning process. To help with this, we provide a feature we call Guest Tags which offers a powerful way to custom tailor any number of details about your guests.
First let’s define a tag. A “tag” is simply a keyword associated with a piece of information (for example a guest, picture or file) which helps describe the item and enable a keyword-based classification system.
In My Wedding Hero, a Guest Tag is a short word or phrase that describes something about your guest.
For example, you might want to record the dinner choice for each of your guests. If your menu included “chicken” here are the steps to add that choice for a guest:
- Navigate to the details of that guest.
- Type the keyword “chicken” in their Guest Tag box.
- Hit save.
It is really that simple! And don’t forget you can add multiple tags to any guest, just separate each one with a comma in the Guest Tag box.
Here are some other suggestions of how you might use Guest Tags:
- Dinner choices (example: Beef, Chicken, Vegetarian)
- Seating arrangements (example: Table 1, Table 2, Head Table)
- Guest accommodations (example: Out of town, Downtown Hotel)
- Special planning (example: Kids, Special needs, Photograph Opportunity)
We would love to hear the creative ways you use Guest Tags in My Wedding Hero, leave a comment or contact us.
