Fitness and your wedding planning

Dancing coupleFinding time to workout can sometimes be a challenge but it can seem impossible when you add the extra responsibilities of planning your wedding. So what is a bride to do? While wedding planning can make anyone’s life a little crazy, especially if you don’t have a great planning tool like My Wedding Hero to help, don’t lose sight of the importance of regular exercise. Cutting back on your regular routine is fine but don’t give it up completely. Exercising for just 20 minutes a day, 3 days a week is still beneficial to your health. And don’t feel like hitting the treadmill is your only option. You can incorporate your wedding planning and workouts together. For example, you and your finance’ can sign-up for weekly dance lessons. Your guests will feel like they are at a special episode of Dancing with the Stars and the lessons can take the place of a traditional workout.

Fall Season Weddings

Posted on Saturday 18 November 2006

Traditionally, Fall does not have the reputation of the busiest season for weddings. But if you are looking for a warm and intamate wedding reception, Fall may be the perfect time. “Miss Plum” at the Weddingbee (Dallas, TX) has posted some great photos that capture the tones and colors in keeping with the season.

To set the tone for your autumn wedding, choose either rich jewel tones to decorate the room, or a traditional fall color scheme such as reds, oranges, browns and yellows. A modern fall color scheme uses only chocolate brown with light-blue accents. Fill the room with the bounty of the season - pumpkins, cornucopias, acorns, and gourds.
